Made during Stradivari’s “Golden Period”, this violin is one of the Great Master’s finest instruments. Described by the Hills as “a superb example in every aspect, and quite of the character we should expect.”

Handmade and hand varnished violin.
Two piece back in selected highly figured maple with matching ribs and scroll; table in two pieces of selected spruce of narrow grain. Hand applied varnish with an antiqued aspect.
Rosewood pegs with Paris eye, matching tailpiece and chinrest.
Fitted French Despiau bridge and fitted high quality sound post.
